•Highlights: fitted princess-seamed bodice; nipped waist w beautiful black silk bow belt; A-line skirt; beautiful jet glass buttons; clear designer quality inside and out

•Colors: white, hot pink, pink, black, cobalt with a tiger stripe

•Fabric(s): silk

•Lined: fully...skirt has two linings

•Closures: buttons, hidden silk/metal snaps

•Designer/Labels: Irene (aka Irene Lentz, famed costumer to the stars) -- this label from my research suggests this is a piece from before her death in 1962, a cusper style, around 1960/1961. There's also a "California Designed for Hovland-Swanson" cloth store label in the bodice.

♛Condition

Very good vintage shape with minor signs of previous wear/age. Cleaned. 60+ years old and presents crisply.

To note: some faint toning on the tip of the ruffle (see close-up)...I don't dare spot-treat something so minor. There are a few subtle scattered scratches in the silk as is common with this particular silk textile. She's priced VERY well for what she is.

Other nitpicks: some streaks of discoloration on the inside neckline remain after cleaning, not visible from exterior/when worn.

The secondary silk lining that backs the inside of the skirt has some splits...it's functional and of course invisible from exterior, but could easily be snipped out if you would rather. She's sold as she is.
