Beautiful vintage US Navy deep blue fine wool gabardine/serge skirt in an ideal A-line shape. We have a collection of these to share! Our skirts date from the early 1950s to the early 1970s. This exact same skirt was used during wartime as part of the navy blue WAVES uniform. The term WAVES continued to be used up until the 1970s.

See images for a few different styles of the interior labels. All skirts are the same exact style as the demo model shown, except for the single variant skirt without pockets (as pointed out in the size information/drop-down menu). Most have the small paper hanging envelope shown with hem tape tucked inside, but some do not. 

Skirts close with a side button and sturdy metal zipper. They have wide pinked fabric allowances inside and are of exceptional quality. They will mix and match perfectly with garments from the 1940s on forward to modern.

These beauties are deadstock/unworn and were meant to be hemmed to your perfect length.

As with all our military, these are made to standards simply not seen in today's off-the-rack stuff! They will last a lifetime with proper care.

Very good to great vintage shape! Deadstock and unworn. 50 - 70+ years old.

These are shipped out lint-rolled and packaged against damage. Can be washed by hand using something like Woolite or dry-cleaned. Ready to hem; hemming is not included in price.

Potential for a tiny, minor imperfection on occasion like a pinhole, easily darned or ignored. We go over our military and deadstock closely and cull out any with blatant issues. Respect the age and history of these pieces of wearable history and help them find new life in the 21st century.

One skirt is clearly marked as-is in the drop-down menu for having a couple small holes near hem, which are easily removed if hemmed about 29".
