Utterly gorgeous vintage dress is difficult for me to date. It's definitely vintage and the fabric and pattern seem older, but the seams inside are serged in a way that seems more 70s than 40s, to me. There many quality pieces in the 1970s inspired by the 30s and 40s.

Great vintage shape. Does not seem to have seen much wear. 40+ years old.
