♛ Incredible 1940s to 1950s British Navy sailor trousers.

High quality, a classic look that never goes off fashion's radar.

•deep, dark ink-blue unfaded color

•pure wool twill

•ultra-high and wide waistband with double button closure + hidden metal zipper

•wide belt loops

•slant hip pockets + rear button welt pocket

•classic extra wide and flared legs

•exquisite quality, similar to our popular Royal Australian Navy pants

•waistband partly lined in ticking/cotton fabric

Wonderful paired with a snug sweater, a cropped jacket, or a little tee-shirt. For the price you'd pay for a midrange pair of jeans, you get something that's high quality AND a historical collectible.

Note: the pair shown are an EXAMPLE. Minor variations may exist across military styles, and each pair was own and cared for by an individual, giving it unique character.

Important note: these were originally cis men's military-issued uniform pants, so these uniform pieces were originally intended for the "typically male" body type. We believe they look great on any gender, though very curvaceous figures should size up to fit their hips and booty, and then have the waist tailored down to suit.

Note: the original sizes found on these trousers are sometimes inaccurate. Disregard. We have carefully measured each pair and corrected sizing as needed.

♛Measurements

Most of these have generous interior fabric allowances, so can be adjusted larger or smaller.

Here is how to get your best fit. Note the RISE measurement -- that is the distance from the center crotch of pants measured straight up with a measuring tape to where the top rim of the trouser's waistband sits. Find this spot on yourself, then use the tape to take the circumference of your body. Choose your waist size based on this measurement. Allow a little wiggle room for breathing and ease.

Always double-check to make sure the hips will fit you.

These seem to fit "longer" than the inseam would indicate, due to their cut. We are including the outseam measurement to help you with fitting.

All measurements are approximate with the waistband held firmly flat, tight, and taut:

♛Condition

Very good condition, sold as-found. Previously owned and worn, each pair unique!

I made a couple extra notes on the individual pieces above. Some have historic inked notations or stamped names located on inner waistband. Some have age toning on the waistband lining fabric, not seen when worn. They may have a tiny imperfection that we missed, given their age.

We give them a quick lint roll before packaging for protection. Dry cleaning or hand-washing + pressing recommended.

Do remember and respect the fact that these uniform pieces are now around 65-75 years old. Recycle history, look stylish, and keep our wearable past in our closets and out of our landfills.

Our pieces are true vintage with a history and a past life, not newly made reproductions. Please be familiar with vintage clothing and read over our shop policies before purchasing. We are happy to answer any questions you might have to help you with online purchasing.

Return & Refund Policy
