Vintage sorcery! A drop-dead gorgeous 1960s (about 1968/69) "Lorrie Deb" evening dress of a deep, glowing violet velvet. Simple in lines, but utterly jaw-dropping, with an inverted V-shaped empire waist and the perfect bow detail in the rear.

Overall great vintage shape.

Nitpicks: a tiny (slightly larger than a sesame seed, same shape) rub to the velvet nap below waist seam. Subtle signs of history and character to this textile, as found in nearly all older velvets. See photos -- gown presents gorgeously.
