The dream is real: ca. 1960s/1970s shaggy-soft mohair wool coat in a unicorn pastel plaid. Incredibly pretty aqua, heliotrope, candy pink, ivory, dusty pink hues. Matching sash belt, pockets, flattering curved seaming, and a massive, glorious arctic fox collar. Lined in an icy aqua fabric, including hip pockets.

Collar is easily removed for dry cleaning and for an alternate, more streamlined look, helpful as the season grows warmer. Classic notched coat lapels are found beneath the fur.

We’re not kidding around: in almost 30 years dealing vintage, we have never seen a more beautiful coat. There's NOTHING like this out there. The photos tell the story better than I can.

This one is a splurge, but for the price of a couple nice vintage coats (and for less than a plain-ish Lilli Ann princess coat), the UNICORN can join your wardrobe.

Please allow room for fit and ease and any clothing layered under it.

Should suit XS up to smaller end of Medium, with potential for easy alteration of the waist area larger or smaller by moving the two snaps in either direction to adjust fit. (There's about 5" from the snaps to the very edge of lapel, and we took a photo of this -- to give you an idea of the adjustment potential.)

There are also standard dressmaking fabric allowances found along every interior seam to allow further tailoring of bust and other aspects of coat. If you have any specific questions, we're always happy to whip out the measuring tape!

♛Condition

Great vintage shape. Clean and fresh, presenting exactly as shown. 50+ years old.

The silky aqua lining has minor faint discoloration and prior seam mending, all located inside the coat in the underarm area, not visible during wear/use.

The fox fur extra nice for the era -- huge, very soft and supple, and does not shed when I handle it.
