1960s designer gala dress in emerald green chiffon with swirling, sweeping accordion-pleated maxi skirt and amazing aurora borealis rhinestone + glass beaded embellishments.

Bust (underarm to underarm measured flat, then doubled) 39"

Waist about 30"

Hips full - about 46" (~10" down from waist seam, measured using the lining)

Shoulder to waist seam about 16 1/2"

Shoulder to hem about 57"

Armhole opening circumference about 18" 

♛Condition

Great vintage shape overall with minor imperfections found under scrutiny. Clean, unfaded, and sturdy. Nearly 60 years old.

Scattered missing central rhinestones in the beaded pattern that could be replaced if desired; majority remain intact. Four of the tiny bugle beads are gone on the top rim of neck off to one side. A small snag to the chiffon layer of skirt at the side hip area. There's TONS of volume which masks any imperfections in the skirting. 

Interior lining has some typical age fading and the designer label has toning, as can be seen in the photo. 

Gown presents absolutely beautifully as shown in our plentiful images, and will make quite a splash...a grand older gown!
