RARE vintage 1960s designer Marco di Roma wool houndstooth plaid coat in ivory, scarlet, black with button-on large shoulder-cloak! Bakelite buttons, large patch pockets, bronze-colored satin lining + deep (21 1/2") rear slit for drama. Beautiful high quality, perfectly suits Sherlock Holmes/Edwardian/Dark Academia aesthetics.

This one is unisex and can be rocked by any gender. It buttons as a man's style traditionally would, but is certainly scaled to suit many women, too.

♛Condition

Very good vintage shape, sanitized and free of moth damage. 60-ish years old.

The buttonholes have signs of wear/use, seen when the coat is unbuttoned. A short section of the satin lining's underarm seam is frayed and pulled loose (hidden when worn and doesn't have to be repaired to wear coat, but certainly can be). 

The ivory color is mellowed by age, and the black canvas trim gently faded. Coat presents well and has plenty of lived-in charisma, just like images.
