Rare af vintage black wool knit + leopard print fun fur 1950s to early 1960s women's jacket, the kind of thing we all drool over in old catalogs but that never turn up! Super velvety-soft faux fur, darts at bust, cropped fit, black silky lining, and cuddly convertible collar that snaps into place. Wears great open, too. A bombshell's or rockabilly queen's dream piece, truly covet-worthy. You won't see anything remotely like this out there...these just don't turn up!

Label: A Winter Product (cute penguin!). The label's WPL number traces to Winter Furs of New York. See image of a similar style in a car coat length, made by Christian Dior in 1960.

Solid vintage condition. Colors rich, no fading. 65+ years old. 

We closed 4 tiny breaks in the knit of one black sleeve, 2 on the other (had to spread knit apart with a hand up inside each sleeve to find these in the first place). 

Jacket shows and wears wonderfully, just like photos!
