Even before I spotted the iconic rear neck button, I knew this wrap dress would bear a Swirl label! Vintage 1950s in black cotton with novelty roses tied up in ribbons. Sweetheart neckline, shirred details on either side of waist, smocked heart-shaped pockets.

♛Condition

Very sturdy and presents beautifully to the eye -- nice deep colors.

Nitpicks: this was obviously somebody's cherished Swirl. There's a difficult-to-spot mend to the backside corner of a pocket, a pinhole in the skirt's fabric visible only if held against a window, and various tiny boo-boos + small, charming hand-mends located along the skirt's hemline. See close-ups to get an idea.

Thankfully these imperfections are the kind that escape notice during wear. Dress presents beautifully.
