Utterly unforgettable, jaw-dropping vintage 1950s prom dress intricately crafted from so much tulle and netting in a rare hot pink and pale pink color way, its cake-like layers trimmed up with tiny, dainty pink velveteen bows. Stretchy tulle straps, sculpted shelf-bust bodice, sweeping tea-length true circle skirt of two layers. This is the instant icon you need to turn every head!

About a modern size XS; please allow room for ease and the kind of fit you prefer. Some available fabric inside to tailor slightly larger.

Bust (underarm area measured flat, then doubled) to about 31" and can accommodate a smidge more bust (but not ribcage) if you don't mind the pushed-up, heaving look

Waist about 24"

Hips full

Bodice length about 15" (straps are stretchy to fit shorter or longer)

Skirt length about 30"

♛Condition

Great vintage shape, shows beautifully. 70+ years old.

Minor signs of its age, as you would expect -- but well-preserved for one of these intricate tulle babies! I found a tiny imperfection in the netting at the rear bodice rim up by the ruffle strap that you'll never see normally.

We had to sew a "stop" at the bottom of the side zipper to keep it from running off track and to preserve the original zipper (works fine as it is now...as with any of these old metal zippers, do treat it with respect).
