Wounded but wonderful vintage white-hot 1950s Peggy Hunt designer cocktail dress. Fine-gauge illusion mesh held up by the magic of expert design. Large, extremely sparkly rhinestones drift down toward that piped waistline like falling stars!

Fits about a modern S; please allow room for ease and the kind of fit you prefer. Interior fabric allowances/darts for potential alteration larger or smaller. Slight give to fabric when pulled tight where indicated.

Bust (underarm area measured flat across front, then doubled) to about 36"/tight 38"

Waist (measured across front seam and doubled) to about 26"

Hips to about (~10" down from waist)

Shoulder to waist seam about 16"

Shoulder to hem about 42" and has 3 1/2" hem

Technically a wounded bird but presents to the eye like "great."

At least three rhinestones are starting to pull loose on their lower edges, so you may consider reinforcing that. Tiny fray at rear shoulder area near sleeve. Interior lining (not visible from exterior at all) has some yellowing. Extremely faint hints of some previous marks remain at the rear corner/side of skirt hem after a very thorough soak/cleaning. Priced with these things in mind -- can be worn gently, restored, or simply collected and admired.
