An exciting stabby-bust + finned hip black silk taffeta strapless dress that shed its designer label (but surely had one!). Boned sharp-petal bodice, prong-set rhinestones, winding leaves of black + gilt cord, velvet blossoms, and a sweeping tea-length skirt.

About a modern size M; please allow room for ease and the kind of fit you prefer. Interior fabric darts + allowances allow tailoring larger or smaller. 

Bust (underarm area measured flat across front, then doubled) to about 36" and can fit a bit more here of heaving bust/boobage (not bone/ribcage)

Rib area at about bra band would be just shy of 32"

Waist (measured across front seam and doubled) about 28" 

Hips full

Underarm of strapless bodice to waist seam 7 5/8"

Waist seam of skirt to hem about 33"

♛Condition

Great vintage shape with only light, normal signs of its age and history. Minor wear to edges of black velvet blossoms. Photos, as always, provide best guide. 70+ years old.
