•Highlights: from 1955 exactly comes this suuuuuper cute Catalina "Sun Sticks" swimmer (see ads)...I've seen her Gingerbread cousin turn up multiple times, but can only find one other example of this umbrella print beauty out there, and it is long sold!

fully ruched; boned; long removable straps with multiple buttonholes for adjusting bodice length and changing strap style (or wear strapless as in the ads!); nipped waist; cute scooped rear w contrast pink bow; wear on its own for swim and play, or layer under a skirt and take her out to lunch!; you likely won't see another any time soon

About a modern S to M with lots of stretch as indicated; please add room for fit and ease of movement

Bust about 34" unstretched, 39" stretched and has some room in the curve of cups

Waist about 26" to about 32"

Hips about 36" to about 40"

Bodice length shoulder to waist seam adjusts with straps

Underarm to waist seam of bodice about 9'

Length from center bust to center of crotch about 22"

Length from center of scooped rear to hem about 16 1/2"

♛Condition

Very good vintage shape. Cleaned and shows light signs of her age. Almost 70 years old.

Faintest traces of toning in the white print as shown in the close-up. My studio lighting is intense and I'm picky...in normal situations, it doesn't read.

The smocking is slightly relaxed at the side seams so this suit will best fit the larger end of the size range given. If you are smaller, you could have her taken in through these side seams to fit perfectly (if you don't want to have the smocking redone).
