Measurements

Currently fits about a modern XS to S, but I believe gown was originally more of a Medium, as described below; please allow room for fit/ease!

Let me know if you'd like photos of the allowances, etc.

Bust (underarm area measured flat, then doubled) to about 34"/snug 36" and was taken in professionally about 2" using two integrated darts on either side of bust...these could be easily reversed as needed, just unpick the stitches inside!

Waist about snug 25" and has a professional hand-tacked alteration along top of rear zipper with the original fabric left intact inside...there's about 3" total of fabric here that could be released (1 1/2" each side).

Hips to about 38"/taut 40" (interior lining to 40") and has extra generous pinked allowances throughout as with all better designer gowns of the era!

Shoulder to waist area about 16 1/2"

Waist seam to hem about 39 1/2"

Condition

Overall great vintage shape. Cleaned and unfaded. 65+ years old.

A single missing rhinestone near top of one shoulder (could be replaced by swiping another from the area where the straps tuck into the dress slightly at rear waist).

A teensy streak of ironing shine near front slit and just some slight wear around slit as is pretty typical, nothing that draws the eye when worn.
