Vintage mid-1950s novelty print pure cotton sundress in tones of red, pink, grey, and crisp white. Printed with butterflies, pine branches, and blossoms. Tie straps, pleated shelf bust, nipped waist, and sweeping tea-length skirt.

About a modern size XS to S; please allow room for ease and the kind of fit you prefer. Darts + generous fabric allowances inside to alter smaller or larger. Make sure you allow for enough room to get the kind of fit you like. Slight give to fabric when pulled tight/taut, wherever noted.

Bust (underarm area measured flat across, then doubled) to about 34" and appears to have been taken about 2" - 3" via side seams

Waist about 25"/tight 26" unbelted

Hips full

Shoulder to waist seam adjusts via the tie straps

Skirt length about 28" and has no additional hem allowance

Great vintage shape. Crisp + bright.

Nitpicks: faintest hint of age toning remains at underarm rims after cleaning, hidden during wear but doesn't catch the eye, either way.
