Vintage 1940s super-soft jet black velvet "Sherwood of California" blouse with capped sleeves, striking Venetian mirror-style glass buttons, ruched waist, belt buckle with sash. Wear over a skirt or wide-legged trousers, or make it modern by topping jeans. Difficult to photograph black velvet to do this showstopper proper justice!

Bust (underarm area doubled) to about 39"/tight 40" pulled flat

Waist about 29"/30" pulled flat, then thread and buckle the sash to suit you

Shoulder to hem about 21"

♛Condition

Great vintage condition. Unfaded -- was lightened in photos for details, but is jet black in person!

Nitpicks: adding a snap or two to the waist sash would help it sit nicely like the photo, as it tends to want to sag due to the buckle's weight. Just a thought.

Shipping

Be sure your address is correct and up to date. We aren't responsible for items misplaced or stolen, so be sure you are shipping to a secure location.

Items ship 1-2x a week normally.

During vacation or trip sales, all purchased items ship promptly after sale's end (date will be posted on social media and in the green banner running across the top of website).

Expedited shipping services are available as an upgrade. We are not responsible for delays that happen that are outside of our personal control. 

Buyer is responsible for any taxes, VAT, or other fees imposed by your country. Items returned for non-payment of taxes or because address provided was incorrect will incur re-shipping costs.

If you do not pay to reship a bounced order in a timely manner (7 days), it will be considered abandoned and returned to inventory or donated.
