Sophisticated 1940s to 1950s cusper dress by “Marcy Allen Original” in a pink and grey glossy satin stripe rayon with flange-front concealing a yummy pink metal zipper. Bold collar, stabby turn-back cuffs, hip-enhancing envelope pockets, decorative buttons.

About a modern size Medium. Darts/generous interior fabric allowances allow tailoring somewhat larger or smaller.

Bust (underarm area measured flat across, then doubled) to about 40"

♛Condition

Very good vintage shape overall. Couple cosmetic things factored into pricing (see photos), but still sturdy and attractive.

Nitpicks: a small vertical greyish scuff to the surface finish on the flange's fabric. A cute and very sturdy hand-embroidered rear mend near the waist seam which would be hidden under a belt (the belt that came with dress was unfortunately lost to time, but any wide belt would look great).
