Spectacular, holiday-worthy vintage ca. 1940s full-length gown in rayon in a soulful bronze or deep copper, the entire rear of the bodice crafted of sheer, delectable lace. Skirt features an absolutely magnificent sweep of this slinky, cool-to-the-touch textile!

Fits like modern size M; please allow room for ease and the kind of fit you prefer. Interior fabric allowances to allow tailoring larger or smaller. There is light give as noted.

Bust (underarm area measured flat, then doubled) about 41"/taut 42"

Waist to about 28"/taut 29" unbelted

Hips to about 52"/full (~10" down from waist seam)

Center shoulder to waist seam about 16 3/4"

Shoulder to hem about 55" and has 1 1/8" hem

Sleeves capped/1 1/2" 

Shoulders should suit about 16" - 17"

Armhole opening circumference about 18 1/2"

♛Condition

Great vintage shape. 75+ years old.

One tiny break in the mesh of the lace at rear bodice, as shown. Doesn't seem to compromise dress; dress feels sturdy. A short streak of reddish fade on the inside rims of each armhole.

Slightest subtle hints of age fade to the "edges" of the bodice, nothing unusual. It's barely detectable in normal lighting, but my camera picks it up and magnifies it in images.
