Vintage 1940s R&K Originals Personally Yours dress made of clingy, bias-cut rayon with a subtle crepe finish in a soft mocha hue printed with ivory + delphite blue falling blossoms. Peter Pan collar, plentiful shirring, fitted waist, amazing layered V-shaped double-peplum effect, sweeping gored skirt.

Fits about a modern Small, and contains interior fabric allowances and darts to alter larger or smaller. Some give to this bias-cut fabric as is indicated; please allow room for fit and the level of ease you need.

Bust (underarm area measured flat, then doubled) to about 36"/tight 40"

Waist to about 26"/tight 28" unbelted 

Hips full/to about 52" (~10" below waist seam)

Center shoulder (estimated) to waist about 17"

Shoulder to hem about 48"

Shoulders seam to seam about 16"

Armhole opening circumference about 18 1/2"

♛Condition

Very good vintage shape with small signs of use/character. 75+ years old.

Has had a good bath and press. There's subtle faded freckling here and there to the background color. The cool bell-shaped rear metal zipper wanted to run off the bottom so stitches were added to prevent this (hidden). One of the shirred areas below waist seam is missing some stitches but it doesn't affect use. See images and close-ups; presents well.
