Vintage ca. 1940s sheer rayon shirtwaist dress with Peter Pan collar (can also be worn open!), functional self buttons + loops to the waist, matching self belt, and a sweeping gored skirt. Fully lined and absolutely beyond gorgeous in a deep midnight cobalt blue with HUGE candy pink, chartreuse green, white, and pale grey peony blossoms.

Great vintage shape overall. 75+ years old.

I zoomed in on an underarm; there are trace discoloration marks, quite minor, within the white part of print at underarm rim. I did not chase this with any kind of spot treatment as it's hidden during wear, and dress is so crisp and unfaded.
