Vintage 1940s (documented WWII era/1945 -- see ads!) jet black matte rayon "shirtfrock" by Betty Winston, with a shirtwaist bodice fastening with beautiful faux pearl + rhinestone buttons, padded shoulders, twin tulip-shaped novelty pockets, and a comfy gored skirt.

Bust (underarm area measured flat, then doubled) about 43" to taut 46"

Waist about 31" to just shy of a taut 33" unbelted

Hips to about 43"/taut 45" (~10" down from waist seam)

Center shoulder to waist seam about 15 1/2"

Shoulder to hem about 39" and has almost 2" hem turned up (side note: hem seems ironed firmly in place so may not let down "nicely")

Sleeves about 19 1/2"

Shoulders suit about 16" - 16 1/2"

Great vintage shape -- no fading, no missing rhinestones.

Nitpicks: tiny scrape to one of the pleated "ribs" on a tulip pocket (see close-up image...not something typically noticed during use and/or in normal lighting).
