Adorable vintage post-war 1940s coat dress of comfortable silky cold rayon with an appealing print of pink cherries with bows tied around them! 8 large early plastic platter buttons to hem, stabby cuffs, gentle draping down each side seam, and a lush sweeping hemline.

About a modern M to L cusp; please allow room for ease and the kind of fit you prefer. Standard fabric allowances and darts inside for potential alteration larger or smaller.

Hips full/54" (~10" below waist seam)

♛Condition

Great vintage shape overall, presents wonderfully. 75+ years old.

Some very subtle trace smudges of fade within folds on lower skirt that are absolutely not visible normally, only with fabric of skirt spread flat (the sweep across lower hem exceeds my arm span!). See last photo.

The buttonholes seem extra-generous to me; you may want to add a few stitches to their corners to tighten them up if you aren't wearing a slip/chemise.
