Wounded but wonderful early vintage wrap dress exhibits the artsy-crafty whimsy of the 1930s, but also strikes me as possibly 1940s. Utilitarian white cotton w patch pocket, dressed up with hand-embroidered purple, yellow, emerald blossoms as well as whimsical purple binding.

♛Measurements

Fits wide range from XS to M/L due to the wrap style; please allow room for ease and the kind of fit you prefer. Wrap and tie down to suit -- dress form is a size XS, so I know it can suit many figures.

Bust (underarm area measured flat across front, then doubled) most to about 42"/43" guesstimating by wrapping it loosely

Waist (measured across front seam and doubled) most to about 34"; use belt to adjust down to fit smaller

Hips to about 48" (~10" from waist seam)

Shoulder to waist where belt sits about 16 1/2"

Skirt length about 27 1/2"

♛Condition

Good, sturdy vintage shape, very wearable.

Nitpicks: this was somebody's personal chore/housework frock from 80+ years ago. Some tiny scrapes, signs of use, and beauty marks picked up along the way. Has been soaked in two version of my witch's brew, so most of the original stains lifted, though some still show up in a vague ghostly way if dress is studied closely. One stitched petal is gone, but overall embroidery is well-preserved.

See images...they show how this cutie presents. I pointed out the most "noticeable" imperfections. The faint splash mark shown under each arm should be hidden during wear, a bonus! A great running-around summer play dress, filled with good karma.
