Vintage ca. late 1930s caped halter peplum evening gown in an amazing midnight "watery reflections" moiré taffeta. Absolutely phenomenal, just couldn't safely get it onto my dress form so relying on pinning and flat lay to try to depict how cool it is. Rear consists of slender straps with an open back; the trapunto-edged cape sits over shoulders, drawing together with a flat bow. Fabulous!
