•Highlights: super rare, and I do not throw that term around -- I've been in classic vintage for-ev-er, and I've never seen this one before!!

A darling original 1950s SPIDER WEB jacket with soutache cording, prong-set rhinestones, and glints of intricately-worked gold thread accents placed artfully within the webs; Peter Pan collar; shank rhinestone buttons; cropped sleeves with cuffs; rear stabby Basque point; highly tailored fit

Carlye sold similar little cropped jackets as separates and in dress and/or skirt sets during the 50s, though I could not find this one in the ads!

You can pop her over ANYTHING (dresses, skirts, cigarette pants, jeans) to instantly elevate your look to extreme compliment territory. Will you be the one lucky person to rock her next?

About a modern size XS (Smalls can fudge it a bit by wearing it open!)

Please allow room for fit and ease and any clothing layered under it. There are seven standard allowances of fabric inside via darts and seams.

Bust (underarm area measured flat on exterior with jacket closes completely, then doubled) about 34"/taut 35"

Waist about 24"

Length about 16 1/2"

Shoulders - no seams, measures about 17" across shoulder area in total

Sleeves about 16 1/2"

♛Condition

Great vintage condition, presents beautifully and photographs well, as you can see. Cleaned. 60+ years old.

To note: a rhinestone cap was missing from a button and has been replaced with another sparkly vintage rhinestone from our stash. Waistband button's rhinestone is dull compared to the others.

Underarms rims of the pale pink lining show a bit of fading or toning from past wear, mentioned for accuracy's sake and not affecting use or visible exterior.
