•Highlights: I call these "winter paper doll" dresses, and they remind me of something you'd see on an old illustration of sleigh rides and ice skating!; can be worn on its own, though would have been a cold weather jumper in its time; princess seams; wicked hand-cut cutouts of flowers, leaves, and crescent moons, backed in devilish scarlet fabric; welt hip pockets

♛Condition

Near-excellent vintage condition. Hand-washed (yes, ~after~ the doggo photo was taken, lol). 60+ years old.

To note: a few small, hazy bluish ghost-marks on the skirt of the dress -- fabric must be inspected very closely to find because the wool felt is speckled/variegated, made up of many shades of grey. See close-ups as I am pointing right at these areas lit by strong morning daylight…it’s so subtle it can’t be seen in most lighting.
