Beautiful ca. 1950s caramel leather statement novelty belt by "Schaffer" with incredibly detailed gold metallic + painted metal fob featuring a heraldic coat of arms: a knight's helmet, crossed swords, and shield. Schaffer was a top-tier New York City belt house in the era, featured in magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.

The fob can be easily slid off the belt like a charm for a simpler, alternative look. An absolute treasure!

Marked a 30. About a modern S to roomy M. Be sure to allow room for comfort/ease.

Fits about 27", 28", 29", 30" depending on setting used.

1" thick band, fob is a whopping 2 3/4" x 4".

Great vintage condition. Paint and gold finish on the fob are beautifully preserved.
