1950s Vintage Salt & Pepper Grey to Indigo Cotton Sporty Cropped Spanish Tiny Fit Jacket - Choose Your Size!

♛Fresh from my shop partner's mysterious and wonderful vault: these amazing cropped jackets! Made in the 1950s and hailing from Spain, with the general cut and coolness of the cropped vintage ski, denim, and sport jackets from the same era that we love so dearly. Bold and sturdy, a look that suits every gender wonderfully. And it's built to last not just a generation, but generations with a plural -s!

Fetching cotton twill in a salt and pepper weave that ranges from grey to indigo tones...in terms of look, weight, and feel, a close cousin to denim. Front patch pockets, hidden button placket closure, epaulets, tidy tailored waist. Most have button-tabs at the waist that have extra buttons to adjust smaller, and all have belt loops to allow you to wear a belt if desired. Minor variations exist across the group, but overall style and look is the same.

Shorter cut shows off high-waisted jeans, skirts, or trousers perfectly, or daringly slip it over a skimpy lil sundress. Any way you'd use a denim jacket, you can use this one. At the perfect 3-season weight, it's going to be one you'll find yourself reaching for often. It's become one of my go-to pieces, even in the summertime!

Note: These are quirky, each one an individual, though same basic cut and style. Some will be more blue-toned, others more grey-toned. We show two examples in the photos to give you an idea of the range in tones. To keep our prices down, we can't honor special requests (e.g. "I want the bluest one you have!") or swap outs. (Really, please don't ask.) You can be assured we'll pick you a nice one!

Extra note: these seems scaled to fit petite (shorter stature) figures as the sleeves tend to be on the shorter end; I mostly wear mine cuffed to show the solid-colored cotton.

♛Condition

Real vintage workwear pieces that are 60+ years old, each one an individual bearing small, normal signs of its historical usage. Occasional subtle imperfections or "beauty marks" attesting to their authentic past and adding character. They have been looked over by two trained dealers to make sure each piece is an attractive, wearable example. Made to be worn, and worn hard, and should easily last you a lifetime!

Some have faint historical ink notations or stamps inside, not seen from exterior.

Please do note that all thread dates to the manufacture of the jackets and may need to be reinforced so you don't lose the cool buttons. These have been bulk-laundered, but not pressed. We recommend hand-washing and air-drying, or dry cleaning.
