•Highlights: I could not find an exact ad for this one, but Swirl used this trim technique and the shirring at waist starting in the late 40s -- that said, the print on this feels more 1950s, to me; fagoting trim at neckline; patch pockets; interior tie and exterior sash to get a "custom" fit; shirred at either side of waist; iconic rear neckline button of plastic; these are popular for a reason!

Fits a good range due to the style as it can be wrapped and tied smaller to fit (dress form shown is XS); please allow room for movement and ease

Bust (underarm area measured flat, then doubled) many to about 42"
Waist should fit many to -- I'd say -- a max of about 31"/32"
Hips full/about 48"
Length, shoulder to waist seam about 17"
Shoulder to hem about 41"

♛Condition

In very good condition with normal minor signs of wash wear and use. 60+ years old.

To note: after after soaking her, there remains a ghostly trace of age toning to the lower inner corner of one skirt pocket. This is subtle and isn't noticed when worn.

I think at one point the bodice was taken up at the rear waist seam slightly and let back down. Again, not something noticed when worn but worth a mention.
