•Highlights: a gorgeous, easy-to-wear piece to layer or not (though I do believe meant to be layered -- that's a very plunging surplice neckline!); fitted and gathered waist; straight-falling skirt with rear V-shaped slit at hem; listen, this is Saks, it's black silk velvet, and it's wearable luxury, there's just no way to get a photo of this on a dress form to bring it properly alive, but I promise its new owner is in for a decadent treat
