Vintage early 1950s British military pure rugged wool skirt in an ideal A-line shape. Interesting construction wraps to one side and fastens with button + metal snaps and features a pocket integrated into its seam on the opposite side. Wide interior ivory grosgrain waistband to help grip blouses.

As with all our military, these are made to standards simply not seen in today's off-the-rack stuff! They will last a lifetime with proper care.

We are selling multiples of these. Labels may vary slightly, but these are all the same style as example photos. The dates I saw on labels were 1952 and 1953.

♛Condition

Very good vintage shape. Unfaded and wearable. 70+ years old. 

Sizes were inked inside the waistband by a previous company, invisible from exterior.

These are shipped out lint-rolled and packaged against damage. Can be washed by hand using something like Woolite or dry-cleaned.

Due to their advanced age, these skirts have potential for a tiny, minor imperfection on occasion, easily darned or ignored.  We go over our military and deadstock closely and cull out any with blatant issues or that cannot be worn. Respect the age and history of these pieces of wearable history and help them find new life in the 21st century.
