•Highlights: adorable hand-knit set can be worn together or as separates; padded shoulders that snap out for cleaning (love that!!); "French cuffs" with carved abalone buttons; fitted shape to blouse; A-line skirt with knit-loops for its wide elastic waistband, making changing it out easy if you want a different size waist

•Colors: a neutral silver-grey that goes with everything, highlighted with deco silver metallic zigzag detail -- the grey has a pale lavender tone in certain lights, and is such an unusual hue to find!

•Fabric(s): lightly textured wool boucle, Lurex

•Lined: no

•Closures: rear metal neck zipper on blouse

•Designer/Labels: hand-knit with love. Also, there was an old paper tag attached inside skirt that has hand-written script on it that I can't make out...I had to remove it for cleaning, but will include it, along with an extra replacement shell button former owner included!

♛Measurements

About an XS to S. Obviously if you are smaller it'll fit more loosely, and larger figures will have more a body conscious, snug fit.  We did not stretch fabric completely tight for measurements. Please allow room for fit and ease as desired.

Bust (underarm area measured flat, then doubled) to about 32" slack, 38" stretched

Waist of blouse about 24" slack, 28" stretched

Length of blouse 19 1/2"

Shoulders seam to seam about 15 1/2"

Sleeves about 7 1/2"

Waistband elastic of skirt about 22" unstretched, 30" stretched

Hips about 36" slack, 40" stretched

Length of skirt about 26" and has finished 2" hem turned up if you need it longer

♛Condition

Great shape with some mild signs of previous wear taken into account with pricing. Hand-washed. 70+ years old.

To note: the underarm seams have a tiny trace of subtle discoloration tucked up under the arms, completely hidden when worn. Cleaning did her good, but I can still make out a few hints of very faint age toning if I place set in front of a bright window of direct light and study up close. The imperfections should not be noticed under normal circumstances -- I took close-ups in this lighting to illustrate what I mean.
