•Highlights: these pieces of history are though to date WWII and shortly thereafter; Sweden remained neutral during the war, but built up a lot of uniform surplus in preparation to help the allies to liberate Denmark and Norway in 1945 (‘Operation Save Denmark') as well as to provide humanitarian aid during the conflict itself

fyi: we do not have that many of these with the buckle-back! 

cute classic cut that suits all genders; hip pockets; high waist with variant metal BUCKLE-BACK to easily cinch waist in about 2"; suspender buttons; early plastic or metal button fly; all of these are same style as the examples shown, but there are small natural variations throughout the group; these were worn in the era and broken in by individuals who owned and cared for them; you can't fake patinas and fades like this!

♛Measurements

These are the taut measurements of the garment taken flat and doubled. Be sure to take your waist measurement at the top of the short's rise (center crotch measured up to waist). Add a little wiggle room for a great comfy fit! The rear cincher buckle can be used to nip the waist smaller by around 2" so do take this into account with sizing (e.g. 26" would become around a 24" waist when cinched).

Measure the rise against your body to see where the waist will hit on you, then encircle this area with your measuring tape and add a little room. You can simulate fit of the short's various dimensions by encircling them with the tape using these measurements.

Good to very good shape 70+ year old workwear pieces. Each worn and cared for by an individual in the Swedish armed forces. No two exactly alike.

Various levels of fade, distressing, paint flecks, and minor beauty marks. Rarely, they may have a carefully hand-done in-era mend (something small). We culled out any that aren't COOL and aesthetic.
