•Highlights: unquestionably beautiful, high end and sophisticated; empire waist; the entire gown is covered vines and blossoms created with costume jewelry-quality prong-set topaz brown glass jewels, metal beads, and gold bullion passementerie fluorishes; the perfect summer-to-fall event dress or even can be worn as a non-traditional wedding gown; photos do not do this one justice; I can't stress enough the top-notch quality and charisma of this heavy, hand-decorated silk gown...it glitters and gleams, and would have been flaunted at the best society soirées, balls, and galas of the very late 1960s...you can sense the money it cost 

•Colors: cream with gold metallic lamé pattern woven into it, gold and "topaz" elements throughout

•Fabric(s): a high end silk brocade, silk lining...the textile is surprisingly flexible, not stiff like some of these gowns

•Closures: rear zipper

Great vintage condition. Clean, though not cleaned by us. 50+ years old and well-preserved.

To note: no issues beyond a couple missing elements in the incredibly intricate hand-embellished detail (see photos)...I had to go over the gown top to bottom to locate these, as they are on the backside and do not "read" when dress is displayed. I may have missed a bead or something truly insignificant, but the impression of gown remains impeccable.
